The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is the implementation of panoramic viewer of videos and images with use of WebGL. Thesis is focussing on processing videos in fisheye mode without having to convert them to equirectangular projection. Between other aspects of this thesis belongs the improvement of panoramic viewer with compass or with information about viewers angle.
Monitoring Application for Multicast sessions

This work deals with a monitoring application for multicast sessions. The general aim is to develop the application for monitoring multicast sessions from network elements of a laboratory computer network. The first part describes possibilities of monitoring computer networks in terms of monitoring techniques and protocols. The second part contains a topology of the laboratory computer network and several basic commands for setting of the multicast in Cisco IOS. The third part is devoted to the developed application for monitoring the multicast in Java language. The last part describes the testing on an actual multicast network and an example of such testing is stated there.
The depiction of Czechoslovakia in the years 1989 - 1990 through the eyes of viewers in the television series Vyprávěj

The bachelor thesis entitled "The depiction of Czechoslovakia in the years 1989 - 1990 through the eyes of viewers in the television series Vyprávěj" deals with the question of how the perception of the portrayal of a particular stage of contemporary history (the November Revolution of 1989 and the social events of the early 1990s) in the series differs between two different groups of viewers, the memorials and the non-memorials. The thesis consists of pilot research conducted with two respondents, each representing one of the two audience groups. Their experience of watching and perceiving the series is explored through a semi-structured interview method with predetermined thematic headings. On a theoretical level, the thesis explores how the format of the series: the memory medium, utilizes concepts of nostalgia along with cultural and communicative memory, while considering account the specificities of post-television audiences. Furthermore it describes the relation between memory and history, as well as presenting the specific importance of the period 1989-1990 in modern Czechoslovak and Czech history. Image of Physicality - Physicality of Image

In the thesis submitted, I deal with the concepts of human physicality and image and their mutual relationship from the point of view of how physicality can be made present in the image and hence in the very dialogue between an artwork and the viewer. The other part is devoted to artistic contexts. I would like to give examples of various works of art which can be traced by means of confronting the contemporary concept of physicality and the appearance of a human figure coming from the earliest paintings to art actions of the present and contemporary art events. My goal is to try to grasp the relation between image and physicality, especially in the context of art education and possibilities of gallery and museum education. I designed and implemented a large educational project: Painting the flesh - the physicality of painting, that uses elements of visually dramatic conception of art education, emphasizing work with pupils physicality of their own, linked to the contexts of art history and also deals with the theme of interpretation, reproduction and manipulation of paintings. The visual part is called Interpretation as a shift from the painting of physicality to the physicality of painting and is also derived from the topic examined in the work.

It describes in detail the reality TV genre, its brief history of broadcasting, focusing on the motivational elements of the program participants Pošta pro Tebe. It investigates the impact and effect of media and mediated relationship to the contents of a reality. It analysis the audience base, explores reasons for visiting the TV studio spectators, why people looking for this TV show and why they watch it by questionnaires, interviews. It's looking for the credibility of the program and asking whether the audience would become program participants. The Bachelor Thesis "TV Programme as Communication. An Informative Value and Manipulative Strategy." is focused on analysis of the informative value and usage of manipulative means in TV programme. The main source for my thesis was the collected material of thirty pieces of the magazine called Magazín DNES since 2008 to 2010. The aim of the thesis was to check the appearance of TV programme and used methods influencing the preferences of recipients.
Multifilter-based Image Viewer

The aim of this work is to design and implement a photo viewer program that can save user-defined metadata directly in photo files. That way, metadata will not be lost in case files are renamed or moved. Other goal of this work is to design a query language which can be used to search photos based on both the user defined metadata and existing file metadata. Created program should have a customizable user interface for viewing query results, editing user defined metadata and query editor which has a code-completion (IntelliSense) support. 1
Visual Perception in the Work of René Magritte

This work provides a detailed analysis of three works by René Magritte based on the theoretical background of Visual Culture Studies and Semiotics. Since these disciplines still need to be better established in Czech research, the first part of the thesis is devoted to creating of theoretical background relevant to the interpretation of Magritte's works. In addition to this part aiming at the issue of human perception of images in general, the thesis also deals with the interpretation of selected works and the dynamics of the relation between word and image that had influenced Magritte's work. Based on the interpretation of Magritte's work, I try to illuminate the ways in which we perceive images and evaluate the world through them.
¨The phenomenon of tutorial videos on YouTube

The diploma thesis discusses the phenomenon of tutorials uploaded on the most visited server for viewing and sharing video content nowadays - YouTube. The term tutorial here is used for referring to the specific instructional video content, which primarily aims to show, by means of the step by step illustration, how to proceed within particular activity that usually requires to adopt a certain extent of specialized knowledge or skills. At the same time, the attention is focused on the graphic design and fine art tutorials. The main goal of the thesis is to answer following question: what motivations might internet users have both for the reception and for the production of tutorials. In other words, the thesis is oriented on searching for the highest possible amount of motives that can lead to the viewing as well as to the shooting of this specific media content. Therefore, this requires examining a given field from two different perspectives: from the perspective of receiving viewers and from the perspective of video makers. Whole thesis structure is then subordinated to these two perspectives.
